Tallinn in a Nutshell Walking Tour
Our tour covers the most important sights in Tallinn’s Old Town from medieval times to modern Estonia.

Runs every day at 11:00 and 14:00. Meeting place Niguliste 2, right in front of Tallinn Tourism & Information Center!
NB! This tour is meant only for solo travelers & very small groups (up to 5 PAX). The tour is based on donations that are accepted after the tour (2€ price is a booking fee).*
Groups of more than 5 people are required to book a private tour.
This tour is meant to have big groups – that is the only way we can keep running them. If you do not like groups that are 30-40 PAX, please consider having a private tour.
ABOUT THIS WALKING TOUR
Our tour covers all the most important sights in Tallinn’s Old Town and will take you through the fascinating history from medieval times, through the Soviet period, and to modern Estonia.
We will travel through time and space and tell stories that will bring the city alive, rather than going that deep into dates and figures. In addition to history, you will hear awesome stories and legends to get a better idea of our people here and how we live.

Is this tour wheelchair friendly?
We are so sad to announce but it is not. It goes through the streets of the old town and up to Toompea with a lot of stairs.
How much should we donate?
The donation amount is everyone’s personal decision, but typically people donate 10-20€ per person.
Are there any food/toilet stops on the way?
We do not do any toilet or food stops during this tour.
Will we pass an ATM?
Yes! Kindly ask your guide to point out the direction if you don’t have cash with you!
DO YOU ACCEPT DONATIONS VIA A CARD?
No! We accept donations only in cash. Please make sure you have enough €’s with you to leave your donation to the guide!
if i don’t have anything to donate?
Then please be kind enough and don’t join these tours. If your guide does 2 h of hard work with the group and you leave nothing, it shows a huge disrespect to the guide and her/his work. These tours are free to join, however, if you stay on the tour, donations are obligatory.

Communist Stories of Tallinn Tour
This tour will give you real-life tales from locals about what it was like to live in Communist Tallinn.
IMPORTANT INFO
Runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 13:30. Meeting place Niguliste 2, right in front of Tallinn Tourism & Information Center! During the winter time (January-March (included), the tour takes place only on Saturday and Sunday at 13:30.

Join us on a 2-hour English language guided tour through the Old Town and into the cool harbor area, and learn more about our communist history. Our guides won’t cover overly dates and figures, rather than we focus on stories and legends that will bring the city alive for each participant!

We are inviting you on a tour to tell you the bizarre, funny, and sometimes scary stories of the medieval old town.
Tallinn’s Old Town is not only one of the best-preserved Hanseatic cities but its cobbled streets have also seen a lot of interesting, funny & quirky things even locals don’t know!
How many haunted houses do we have in the city? Where do the ghostly monks of Tallinn live? Why did women have to be careful when entering the Dome Cathedral? Or what happened to the man who dared to deceive his wife? All of these questions will get an answer.
