This tour is meant only for solo travelers & very small groups (up to 5PAX). The tour is based on donations. Donations are accepted after the tour (1€ price is a booking fee).*

About This Walking Tour

We are inviting you on a tour to tell you the bizarre, funny, and sometimes scary stories of the medieval old town.

Tallinn’s Old Town is not only one of the best-preserved Hanseatic cities but its cobbled streets have also seen a lot of interesting, funny & quirky things even locals don’t know!

How many haunted houses do we have in the city? Where do the ghostly monks of Tallinn live? Why did women have to be careful when entering the Dome Cathedral? Or what happened to the man who dared to deceive his wife? All of these questions will get an answer.

You are welcome to join our walk with a guide to hear those funny, scary, exciting & naughty stories and legends that can make you look at Tallinn’s Old Town and its houses in a completely different way.

The exact route might differ depending on the weather, what’s happening in the city (construction works, etc), or the guide.

Is this tour wheelchair friendly?

We are so sad to announce but it is not. It goes through the streets of the old town and up to Toompea with a lot of stairs.

How much should we donate?

The donation amount is everyone’s personal decision, but typically people donate 10-20€ per person.

Are there any food/toilet stops on the way?

We do not do any toilet or food stops during this tour.

Will we pass an ATM?

Yes! Kindly ask your guide to point out the direction if you don’t have cash with you!

Do you accept donations via card?

No! We accept donations only in cash. Please make sure you have enough €’s with you to leave your donation to the guide!

If I don’t have anything to donate?

Then please be kind enough and don’t join these tours. If your guide does 2h of hard work with the group & you leave nothing, it shows a huge disrespect to the guide and her/his work. These tours are free to join, however, if you stay on the tour, donations are obligatory.
